So yesterday was day one of stims and I managed to just fine except the Lovenox. It is a nasty thing. I wish I didn't have the deal with it. The rest of the shots are really a piece of cake but the Lovenox...Oy Vey! It burns and it feels like an electric shock going in when injecting. The worst part was after I pulled out the needle. I felt the medication flowing onto my body and it burnt from the inside! I watched a video on You Tube that said the trick is to insert the needle in very very slowly unlike the other shots that go in quickly like a dart, this one has to go s-l-o-w and be slowly injected. I didn't get a bruise until this afternoon. At least it is small but I am really dreading this injection again tonight. My tummy is not gonna look pretty after this.
DH is working tonight and I have to do it alone without his support. I am not looking forward to it at all!!!
